Hokkaido

It's Ayu's birthday today and since the birthday girls just loves crabs I took her to Hokkaido as this is the nearest pork-free Chinese restaurant that I know of. The menu was simple. Dry Chilli Crabs and Steamed Sea Bass with Supreme Soy Sauce.

The Dry Chilli Crabs is a signature dish at Hokkaido. Actually, I think it is Kam Heong Crabs but since they have a predominantly Malay clientele it probably 'evolved' to Dry Chilli Crabs for simplicity.

A closer look at the crabs and if it's not close enough click on it... if you don't already know. It is literally finger licking good.

The Steamed Sea Bass with Supreme Soy Sauce. It was nice and so was mine. Confirm... mine is 'restaurant quality'...
