BSOD Yet Again...

BSOD Again

Things were going really well and my notebook zipping away like never before. Then, me being me... anal about everything, I decided that I didn't want to leave any 'quick launch' buttons not working. So I downloaded the Acer Empowering Technology utilities from their website and installed them. I was about halfway through installing 7 of the modules. I had just installed the e-Data Security Management which required a reboot and after rebooting I was hit with the BSOD.

I restarted and everything was back to normal. I continued installing the remaining modules with no problems at all. I hope this will be my last encounter....

Oh, by the way... Windows 7 really rocks... (",)

BSOD

I got the infamous Blue Screen Of Death again today. I got it on Windows Vista a few times before but this is the first time on Windows 7. I hope I don't see it any more. I've done all the updates and updated all the drivers and BIOS. So, we'll see how it goes from now on...

I didn't think of snapping a photo at that time. Maybe it was because I was stunned that it happened within 4 days. But here's a picture of my Vista BSOD back in June 2008.
