Things were going really well and my notebook zipping away like never before. Then, me being me... anal about everything, I decided that I didn't want to leave any 'quick launch' buttons not working. So I downloaded the Acer Empowering Technology utilities from their website and installed them. I was about halfway through installing 7 of the modules. I had just installed the e-Data Security Management which required a reboot and after rebooting I was hit with the BSOD.
I restarted and everything was back to normal. I continued installing the remaining modules with no problems at all. I hope this will be my last encounter....
Oh, by the way... Windows 7 really rocks... (",)
