Boleh!

I received my phone bill last week and to my astonishment I was one month in arrears. How can this be when I paid everything up last month? Last month, I went to TMPoint and since I didn't have my bill with me when I went, I asked them for the total amount due and paid everything. So, that's why I was astonished.

Okay, never mind. Today I decided to go and pay the amount due. I didn't bring my bill along with me but I knew it was approximately RM470.00. When my turn came I went to the counter and gave my mobile number as a reference to get the amount due. I was told the amount due was RM235.55. I told the dude that this couldn't be coz I remember it was RM470.00 or thereabouts. He then tells me that what he had on his screen was not accurate. Huh? I didn't want to get into an argument or end up lecturing the dude for the stupidity of the company he represented so I refrained and told him to be patient while I got the amount due on my mobile phone. So, I requested for an sms bill via my mobile and showed him. It was RM470.95. So I paid RM471.00, got my receipt and left.

Here's the deal. Obviously the system isn't updated as the dude had admitted; hence me being in arrears. Now, TMPoint is owned by Telekom Malaysia. Telekom Malaysia is the PARENT company. Here we are with Telekom Malaysia's Sales and Services arm, TMPoint being authorised to collect dues on their behalf but their accounts are not updated. If you are a day or two off in your update I understand but get this... I got my bill last week, Friday. I got my bill via mail. So, how long does it take to print the bill and get it to the intended recipient. Let's be nice and say that our mail service is super efficient and the process takes 3 days. After 5 days your system isn't updated? And if we be realistic then it becomes really stupid coz my bill was dated 18th September 2009. It's been more than two weeks yet their system isn't updated.

Boleh kan? Kudos...
